March 2019 Market Update
Welcome to another Portland real estate market update and my favorite time of year as we head into Spring during March. The witch hazel already bloomed in our yard and it’s a nice sign that the cherry blossoms are on their way which PDX is lucky to have plenty of around town. The market is moving back even more in the Sellers favor due to low inventory and strong demand. Personally, I have seen many new listings go Pending within two weeks, so I expect the market to stay competitive for at least the foreseeable future. The Median list price rose to $567,500 for SFR properties and the inventory dropped to approximately 1251 houses for sale in the Portland metropolitan area.
