January 2019 Market Update
Welcome to a new year in Portland Oregon with the KOVER Realty Group and our Real Estate Market Update. January 2019 in PDX is slightly in the Seller’s favor with the Market Action Index staying at 38. Prices have leveled off but low inventory of SFR houses continues to fall, putting pressure on buyers. Inventory from last month dropped 430 units, 24% from 1816 to 1386 houses for sale.
For January in Portland, the DOM is 121 days but that will drop as we head into Spring. The median list price remains the same at $530,000 but with the changing market this could go either way.
